This is a companion piece to the actual Portait of Dorian Gray already uploaded (I think), and was done for an educational magazine years ago. They wanted a piece similar to a portrait of Clive Barker I had done. Watercolor, about 12 x 14.
you know what? this picture is fucking amazing. i mean, it got a DD those few years ago, so OBVIOUSLY it's something special. but you know what else? i think it's fucking amazing because i REMEMBER looking at this picture when it was on the DD page. i mean, that's only roughly four years ago, but it left such an imprint on me that i could clearly recall it at any time.
infact, it has a habit of randomly popping up in my mental imagery and making me reflect on it in awe. that, my dear artist, is power.
it's still an amazing picture. something i will never forget.
