...Tom Waits, that is! This is my first oil painting, done for a class...had fun with it and I may use this method for more stuff (actually did it in class in about an hour).

What's hilarious is today I'll be starting a Tom Waits painting I've had planed for months... Thanks for posting this. It has tipped my art scales even further in the direction of doing it.

I need a break away from a sculpture I'm working on, and I've been waiting for the right idea to strike me with Waits....it finally did. It won't be made for any other reason than I need a break from sculpting and I love Tom Waits's music.
